Who I am

Robert Lee Herring 3rd came up with a convenient idea to develop an avenue for young and older African Americans to seek a shoulder to cry on or even just an understanding if needed. Realizing that there are no avenues of therapy for OUR type of environment, The Black Detox was invented. Giving black people a lane to dip into when needed, giving black people a discreet way of sorting out their thoughts without going to the extreme or paying high cost for therapy. This was a major way Robert L. Herring 3rd could effect and evolve his community.

Born and raised among the black society, understanding their plight and mindset is NOT foreign to Robert. Urgently seeking a way to give back to his community and help generations to come is a personal goal of his, using his life and others as an endless book to study, learn and teach from. The Black Detox is a endless learning experience for ANY age group within the black society.
